Check the vinyl inlet tube into the fill resovoir

I have had where the water pressure jumps the vinyl fill tube at the resovoir out slightly and the the water only partially enters the resovoir and partially spills into the bin or base of the machine. It will eventually give you an error code. It happens every so often. Must be occassional spikes in water pressure tha may make the tube jump out or if it is too long and hits the base of the resovoir it could back the tube out.
Just another thing for you to check

Works great for filters. Why do you think they have 2 sides.

Flat tire-it's only flat on the bottom, the top's ok.

On your Avatar did you have to replace that or did you comb it out.

The handbook only mentions how the voltage changes based upon the beam being broken. Wish they would have included more detail.

    76olds,
No i did not have that page thank you. On your page it list "possible causes" #4 "water level sensor failure" On Scotsman's site i found the voltage testing procedure for the sensor. On there it made no mention of how the eyes work.

also over time the float stem that holds the float cuts into the sensor housing and the white plastic sump cover. This can jam the float and cause problems. If you see a notch where the float stem is cutting into the sump cover, place a piece of 3/8 copper between the legs of the water sensor and the float stem. glue it down with silicone.
    Thanks craig1,
When i checked the sensor eyes one of the bottom ones had some rust on it. The board had no shorts in it. I cleaned the best i could but i was still getting a 2 code flash on water problem. I found the voltage reading to check the sensor and will go back with that info.
    Thanks,
    Vince
