I can't justify in my mind any reason the drier wasn't changed. I like to relocate drier outside the condenser so next time unit can be pumped down to change it.
If they didn't want to drag out the torches, they could have cut that dryer out and put in a flare dryer
ditto on filter dryer and not wanting to drag out torches. Hopefully it wasnt a burn out. I have a touch of ocd when it comes to trimming wire ties also, but in a bundle that big got to be carefull not to nip a good wire in the process.
Anybody else hate wire ties with flying ends, I lose sleep if I forget to trim them off.

I've noticed that Trane likes to have a gobbly-goo of wires in their condensers, we just have to deal with it! An yes if you cut the wire ties off, it only takes 3 minutes to put a few new ones on!
