We have had some criminals come by and they stole electronics out of several of our neighbor's cars back in early December. Bicycles were also stolen from one house across the street from ours. This kept me wondering, "Why would they leave their bikes outside instead of in the garage?" I'm sorry to hear about what happened at your house. House break-ins have never occurred in our neighborhood.
Robberies happen on vacation too. Good Read http://www.extremetech.com/computing...icrocontroller Extra tip when your on line searching for hotels/flight Use 2 diffrent browsers or erase the cookies. You will get diff rent prices . I consider that being robbed also. Johny jet my Her0
Robbers love it when u Tweet/fb where you are it's a invitation to be robbed. Your basically there lookout.
Sorry to hear about that. Don't keep your passwords in plain text on your computer. If you gotta keep them, use a password wallet like Keepass (available on all major platforms like Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, Iphone) and use a strong password for that one.
I had my house broken into twice. The first time they picked my locks, the house was all locked up when they left. The only things they took was a key to my motorcycle (which I left in the bike under a cover) and the garage door remote which was in my car in the garage. I only use my car on the weekends usually but luckilly it was the company christmas party that evening. I then put unpickable locks on the house and lojack on the bike and had it rekeyed. Months later they threw a rock through a back window. Grabbed a new laptop and some random stuff. I then put an alarm on the house. One week after that my van, but only got the gps. My neighbors were also having random stuff from around the outside of their house stolen. I knew hwo did it, a couple 20ish y/o kids who lived in a gov assisted house down the street. I would see them walking around alot. They have sence moved out but if I wouldnt get in trouble, I would have kicked in their door and taken my stuff back. I bet if I did that and proved that they did break into my house I would still be arrested. Sad when criminals have more rights then the honest man. And yes, im planning on moving soon.
sorry to hear that.... it sucks ...... bad people around ....
I vote for figure out who did it and steal their ac on the hottest week of the summer.

Get a Rottweiler. You and your family will have a new best friend that'll fiercely protect you and your home.

The stuff doesn't bother me near as much as the feeling that someone came into my house. The laptop should be a concern. Did you store passwords on it. All they need is one which can lead access to others. I would go to local Pawn shop and ask if the police questioned if any body pawned your laptop. If he say's no go on cell and call the department in front of broker. He might say what kind was it. Oh that one I thought you said Etc;;;;. Pawn broker apply for licenses less paper work more likely renewal. If You had your email passwords saved that can be helpful. Before you change passwords look at activity details. All you need is for them to log on and you have a ip address. Than go to Police with that and show them a website called whois
SUX! Sorry to hear.

That's terrible, I'm always sorry to hear about burglary happening to anyone. The problem is - where are you going to move to that's any better? I'm still looking for that place.
