I entered your number into Google and within the first couple of results I found that it's a Heatcraft/Bohn part # 5709L.

Do a new search on that P/N and quickly find that it opens at 55ºF and closes at 35ºF

Usually when I'm looking for a part number or info on a part, I'll start with the unit model number, as was mentioned.

That's what I told him to check. They were either not there or not readable...hence the google fiasco. I even thought the part number contained that info.

    KB Cool
Isn't it printed on the side of the klixon? Like 20f and 55?

Doesn't answer your original question, but evap fans will never start while you stand there and watch them. After the system runs for a while, and right at the point where you want to get your screwdriver and meter back out, go out to the van, have a smoke or start filling out your invoice. When you come back in they'll be running.

20-25 are mostly what I see. When using google it's easier to search the model number, find the IOM, then find the info in there.

How do you find technical specs online?

So my buddy who is on call this weekend calls me fifteen minutes ago.

"What temp are fans supposed to come on in a walk in freezer?"
"I guess zero to ten is pretty good." I'm still a rookie...I still have to look up specs. "I think the part number should give you some sort of clue, shouldn't it?"
"Yeah, usually, but I can't tell on this one."
"What's the number? I'm sitting in the living room, I'll google it."
    "20425d56-520-b10,"
I type it in and go into google warp. I modify the search by adding the word "temperature" then "fan delay." It got worse. I told him I could order him one for $25 but I had not idea what what the specs were. How do you find this stuff out?
