Man, hell of a resurrected thread and hi-jacked at the same time..LOL

As for this hi-jack, a simple Googler search found one of many aftermarket outfits that reprogram vintage ECM/PCMs based on VINs. May want to look here, requires buying a replacement but they are available.

Used these guys for a Montero I rebuilt where the ECM was fried due to shorted TBI position sensor.

3.8l v6, sportronic 6 speed trans, CAI, HUTTED CATS, thats what did it I beleive. Mitsubishi offers almost no support for it. Since it's been discontinued since 2012. There's no computer to buy for it. They won't reprogram it unless everything was brought back to facthree assembly line condition. And even then, they said they probably wouldn't be able to do anything to help. I'm having trouble finding something that will at least. Get it Rollin where I can get a tune. And I've got coral overs waiting to go on it, straightheaders.

I know there was a CVHE-SB-32A for the UCP2, but was there ever an updated (or later)version of CVHE-SB-22 for the UCP1? (Troubleshooting guides for those control panels)
