I put a piece of garden hose and then some foam pipe insulation on mine.

The Homer Bucket Series now comes with an insertable lid with nifty compartments built in. I now have a luxury seat as well as a very stable step stool.

I have that same bag and I like it . I purchased a veto XL but went back to that sears bag because I packed too much stuff into the veto bag.

The sears bag is my main troubleshooting / everyday tools bag. I keep the less used tools in my veto.

Does anybody use hard suitcases like these?

I think that they changed the style and tags on the new ones, Craftsman without the "professional" tag on them.

You might be able to order one in to york local Sears, or have it shipped directly to your door, or buy one off E-bay or Amazon. The Veto is for sure a better quality bag, but the Craftsman bags last me up to 2 years before I replace it, and the old ones are still serviceable.

I've decided to stick with my Homer bucket and pouch for service. Can't beat the price, accommodations and possibilities. Like a 12 inch 2x4, obstensively for a little help with larger blower housings - but really makes for an acceptable seat when working with the burner compartment.

This is my first Veto bag and I was actually trying to decide between the Tech LC and the XLT (I like the aesthetic upgrades on these bags). When they came out with a free smaller bag offer on ebay with the Tech LC though, I jumped on it right away. Nothing beats free stuff.

Now I'm thinking getting the Tech LC instead of the XLT was a good decision as the bag with all the tools inside feels kind of heavy already.

Abcando I love my srh3 I got the xl and yea it's nice to be able to put it in the bag and not have to carry the extra case, I think I might order the tech lc and see if I like it, I love the xl but am curious about the tech, I think it would be nice to just grab the mb bag to diagnose

Just got my Tech-LC today. I'm happy to find out my fieldpiece psychrometer (SRH3) can fit in the pocket with the probe on it. I'm also thinking to get the STA2 for airflow measurement which basically has the same design as the SRH3, and this can also go on the other pocket. See the testo 510 finding a spot on the upper zippered pocket.

With all these, I can have my multimeter, manometer, psychrometer and anemometer in one smallish bag, no extra cases to carry. I'll also be getting the free MB bag for extra meter storage. I think I'm gonna be happy with the veto.

Ordered the tech-lc, received the LC today zzz not happy another week with this crap husky bag.

Been using a toolpak backpack for the last couple years. I treat it pretty rough and it's still holding up. It has a spot or holder for everything I carry. Cut the flaps out of the inside makes everything a lot more accessible.Attachment 316971

veto tech LC for diagnostic and rooftop work. and two husky bucket wrap on 5 gallon pail. one for install one for resi clean and check. and two tool box for misc. one fore refrigeration and some custom made stuff, the other one is for my salvaged parts bin and some socket set, flaring tool, purging tool, etc.

Just got me a veto xl , wow pretty impressive, they give you 30 days to return it no questions asked so I think I'm going to order the tech lc and try it before I decide for sure witch one, the tech ls comes with a free MB bag that attaches to the side witch is perfect to throw a meter and a few tools in to do diagnostics and then If you need the rest go grab them, I am very impressed with the ruggedness of the veto and how smooth the zippers are, the pockets are perfect, I have bought so many bags that looked perfect until you start loading tools and trying to find a good spot for them, not the case with the veto, I went and bought the clc 75 pocket backpack before the veto went home loaded tools, then unloaded tools and took it back and bought the veto, love it, the smaller clc backpack fit tools better than the bigger one, but it's much nicer working out of the veto

I saw a nice Klein backpack today at a supply house that was catering BBQ and stuff. It was at an hvac supply house so it was dedicated to the hvac guys. It has a base like the veto's and I've NEVER seen that before. So cool. Guy gave me a new duct slicer, no more banging the regular flathead to startAttachment 312451

i had a 47 pocket CLC organizer, I thought it was too awkward to carry everywhere all the time. Then had the 20 tool pouch which was nice but then became too small, Veto Pro Pac = Happy Medium
