Tape door is bad enough but teflon tape on a flare fitting? By the looks of how much tape is showing outside- any bets on how much tape is inside the pipe?
eh, i've patched some holes with tape in a rush, but nothing like that, thats insane. I'm with billy on the tx. That just screams unsupervised apprentice.
i have made replacement doors out of sheetmetal never tape . dont they know your supposed to use duct tape not fsk? lol

If you dont have a door, just make one Previous company replaced evap coil. For some reason the piping connections were in a different spot.
