    Sounds like the ODR aquastat was wired in wrong. Should only be wired into the burner LV control circuit.

    Here's some better info of the setup. The boiler cir is being used as the primary cir for the baseboard heat. No zone valves, just pumps. I just don't understand how the system worked when the primary cir only runs with the burners running. The aqua stat being used is a 2 bulb differential control measuring outdoor air and the water temp to ramp up and down the water temp according to the outdoor temp. The boiler is on its own stat, which is broke thru the aqua stat. The air handlers have thier own dedicated stats. I have already suggested to get rid of the aqua stat and turn the high limit down to 150. Wire the stat direct to the low voltage terminals on the boiler and let the burners ride against the high limit while the pump will cir whenever the stat calls, with or without the burners. The customer is upset at the fact of replacing the aqua stat with something that is designed to work the way I have described above due to cost. Any other thoughts on this fellows?

    Continuous pump with bypass loop and zone valves. Stats wired to valves in each zone.

    If you have 2 zones, it'd be best to have each one seperated with it's own pump/zone valves. Especially when you get into dramatically different forms of radiation.

    If not, and your using one pump, then you need to set it so the single pump runs off of 1 thermostat.
    If your not seperated, and your trying to use 2 stats to turn on one pump, your going to overheat one of the areas.
    UNLESS, the air handler is oversized. Then although the coil gets hot, the air wouldn't blow across the coil and heat the area when it's satisfied.

    How it's wired is going to determine how it operates. To many ways to do it without being there though.

Has one baseboard fin tube zone, and a a/h with a water coil in it with its own cir pump for forced air heat. Heres what I can't remember, when there is a call from the stat.
