Sometimes you will see the PRC or ROC as part of, or next to, a "Made in China" label.
Taiwan(ROC) has tech manufacturing facilities with cleanliness, and working conditions that rival those in the US and Europe.
Mainland China(PRC) has tech manufacturing facilities that are virtual slave labor sweat shops, often forced labor.
Keep that in mind when you are stuck with no north American or European manufactured alternatives for something you need to buy.
I guess we were both right. Cause the last I knew Taiwan was Independent of mainland China. Also was aware of the pissing match for the right of sovereign legitimacy.

Like I said when I read it was China in Graingers I never checked it out further.

Guess I'm getting a little apathetic when it comes to East Asian politics.

He has called me several times, just to check in on me, particularly following the death of my father a few years ago. Nothing professional, just checking to see how I was dealing with the loss of my father.

Yes, sometimes he calls to "talk shop" and those are enjoyable conversations as well. Most recently, he gave me some good and much needed advice on mountain biking, a subject he's very knowledgeable on as well.

Yes, I suppose he can be a bit abrasive at times. I think that anyone who has earned their bones in this trade can. Heck, even I have had apprentices afraid to call me and I'm an

The ROC has never officially declared their independence for Taiwan for a number of reasons, the most obvious to us on the outside is fear of a military takeover by the PRC.
The ROC is not a communist government.

The only reason the PRC hasn't invaded Taiwan in the past is because it was defended by the US and Japanese military. While there has been no US military presence on Taiwan, that I am aware of, since the lat 70's, they have remained under our protection.
IMO, the only thing currently keeping China from taking over Taiwan by force is China's mutual economic dependance with the US and Europe. China's military has modernized to the point that Taiwan would be impossible to defend from a conventional military attack from China.

The day Taiwan is forcibly brought under PRC control will be the day after China figures out how to do it without pissing off the rest of the world to much.

In the mean time, WWIII would be of no benefit to anyone, so the ROC continues operating independent of the PRC, and the PRC rattles its saber at it from time to time...

I got rid of my ak900s because of poor customer service issues. long story... I rather deal with a company that will take care of their customers that spend a great deal ofn their products....

I have three sets of 550's and a set 570's, a SMAN3 and now on the way a SMAN4. I really like how I can pirint out the results with the Testo 570's. I can't believe others haven't done the same with their products.

I keep all of the manifolds in check with each other to make sure they are working properly.
