Yeah, I have seen that lot in ICP units. Hard to tell from here but it is easily fixed.

standing pilot- pilot flame that burns continuously, one that you would have to relight with a match.

Hello, and thank you for so many replies!

Yes, this is a mobile home. Yes, it heats just fine. No, there isn't any cooling system (I live in Alaska). The model no. is MGHA-090AAAPQ-05. I do not know what a "standing pilot" is.

    Thanks again,

    Darla

    Is this a mobile home?

Is it heat only or does it also have cooling?

A model number would help. This could be a relay or a noisy inducer motor.

I haven't had the time to come to this site recently, but from what I have been reading it sounds like your right up navadas ally. The guys in the residential section would be happy to help you out with your transformer problem.

I recently purchased a home that has an Intertherm gas furnace that was installed around 8 years ago. The problem is that when the unit cycles on (click) I hear a buzzing noise that continues even after the fan starts blowing.

I am not in this industry, just a single mom that is a home owner. Any and all help/suggestions would greatly be appreciated!

    Thank you in advance, Darla
