The joys of working with an automation system that has not had a significant update to the controller line in 20 years....
Thank You. we upgrade to compass 2.0 last year. Now some of the VLC 853 controllers have a error saying not enough space for DDC. Visio version 2016 telling me to clear the geometric info.I haven't been able to find in this version of Visio.

Hi all, I'm in need of the configuration manual for ALERTON (VLD-362-FF) controller. Could someone please help me find it? Thanks!

The VLD is showing System "Off" as the only option - there's no EM Heat, Heat, Cool or Auto. Any idea what might be causing this? Does this tell us it's not connected to anything else, or the other controller it's connected to might be broken (or not wired correctly)? Any help is greatly appreciated! There is extremely little to go on here (not criticizing, just assessing) you need a site visit.

Authorized dealers means contractors who would only have this on hand if they ordered it for a job, and the installation has not started yet.
Any names you could suggest who might have that kind of quantity at hand ?
Not a distributor item. Alerton is sold through authorized dealers only.
Thanks a lot controlsmike for details. Any large distributors you would recommend who would have 100 units of VLD-362 in stock for immediate delivery ?
This really depends on a few things. First is whether they need a VLD-362 or a VLD-362-FF. If they need a VLD-362 for custom programming there is no real substitution. If a VLD-362-FF is what they need then you can substitute just about any Bacnet thermostat. It gets tricky if they need MS/TP as most are moving to Bacnet IP. As far as I know these are not discontinued and still available. Delivery time is a whole different story. FYI they are NOT discontinued in the current pricelist.
Hi, Excuse my ignorance in the subject as I am just a reseller and my client who's a contractor has asked for 100 units of VLD-362 or nearest alternative. Would one of you experts help me out with what would be the nearest alternative or workable alternative to replace these units as I understand these are obsolete now and not manufactuerd anymore. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Have a site running EBT 3.1 and when opening the software, I'm getting an error message of "Initialization Failed: ERROR when waiting for public web server to start". I have tried changing the web server port address from 8088 with no luck. Any suggestions?
I'm trying to make a balancing tool with a old alerton room sensor that connects to room sensors that have the headphone jack. The room sensor is the red led display with 3 wires. Black/red/white. Is this possible. I used to have one but Lent it out and never got it back. This would be for balancing purposes.
We lost our Envision for BACtalk 3.0 installation when upgrading servers. We planned to get the license transferred to the new Host ID but now it sounds like EBT is no longer supported and we need to migrate to Compass. We only need access to the Alerton controller programming, no front end capabilities are required. Are EBT licenses still able to be transferred? Is Compass able to be installed on an existing N4 server to accomplish Alerton programming access? Thank you

Thank you for the fast response! How do I check if it is registered? I know that the VM server is connected via Ethernet to our network. In the Compass Application in "General System Setup" it says "Configuration Status: Ok". In Help>About Compass> it states that I have "Servers Allowed: 1", "Web Services allowed: Yes". In Windows Services, the service "BACtalk Ethernet Protocol" is Automatic and Running

I tried restarting the server again but that didn't seem to do anything. Any help would be great, Thank you. Is conpass registered? Check the bactalk settings in compass as well.
