    Wish Goodman and Goodman distributors would stop this crap. Make sure you take pictures after you install it. I need a good laugh.

    Yeaaahh...i did buy online..shame on me. Wholesaler was closed by the time I had realized. I mean I've seen oversized coils before but I'm a bit rusty after leaving hvac field for electrical work. I been reading the goodman website on specs and usage..and I'm thinking that coil is only listed for 1.5 to 2 tons.

    Undersized goodman coil?

    Hi guys, I bought a new 2.5 ton goodman split ac and gas system and received it today. Upon inspection of the goods I noticed that the model number on the coil indicates that its a 2 ton coil. The condensing unit is a 2.5 ton so thats good. I'm thinking I got an undersized coil, what do you guys think? Here are the model numbers coil: CAPF1824A6 rev: BA, condensing unit: GSX130301BA. Are you guys thinking the company saved themselves 50 dollars and sent me the wrong coil?
