    Lowboys had low airflow to begin with. It probably had a large plenum and then insert the tiny coil opening.

    I would have to guess that after the coil clogged and the air flow stopped, the furnace burnt the foil off of the insulation in the heat exchanger box. Now that is assuming the coil sat on a furnace. I have witnessed that before and it's not pretty. Might want to check the heat exchanger if I'm right.

    1980 something Bard coil. Changed the system. Coil sits in the scrap coil pile now.

    That's a high efficiency direct contact filter, no dirt gets through now the foil I guess makes it electro static!!!! Lol!

    The foil is the least of the problems! That's about as dirty as I've seen.
