I like Klein snips, not sure if anyone else has had any expperience with them here but they work well for me a bit pricey tho.

I had a pair of Wiss, and then I purchased a Midwest pair. I must admit I am not looking back.

My klenks are the only ones I don't have that problem with, They cost 2-3 times what the midwest do though.

Yes they work fine for that. I love the cutting edge on Midwest but the way I hold them the tit on the grips rubs a blister on my finger if I don't wear gloves. Some tool rep from lowes gave me a bunch of tools when I fixed his ac last year and included was a set of their new and improved wiss snips. They are red/black, green/black, and yellow/black colored. The grips are much more comfortable and the cutting edge is fine so far. They have the sort of serrated type edge rather than the smooth edge of the Midwest. I just grab whichever is closest, I've got 10 different pairs of various types and brands in my sheet metal bag.

No, that's not for what they are made for. You need Bulldog Aviation Snips P6716B

Like has been said midwest is way better than wiss. I kept going thru wiss's until I found midwest haven't had to buy a new pair for years. I've had really good luck with my wiss shears though. Probably had those 4 years still cut great.

A good tinknocker can use any brand. My personal preference is Midwest. I do commercial sheetmetal an use them everyday and if your getting much more than a year your not trying hard enough
