You could always just open a supply house
if i have to use a magnet to get by while i get the part ordered seem like a great idea to me
i agree phase loss but when you work for a co. where they dictate truck stock you have to make due
I got coils and magnets but I wonder if a wire and battery would work and if it did for how long

cool trick yesterday went on a call for a walk in freezer. the on call tech over the weekend had been out and said the ll solonoid was bad. i show up but find unit running at temp but starting to ice over coil but not too bad, he had been there on sunday this was monday . find that he had took a magnet from an old microwave he had worked on and placed it on solonoid and zip tied it. it was working great . thought i would pass this trick on as i thought it a great way to get you by untill you can get the part.
