    Yea, agree.

    Colin Powell was not a military general... he was a political general.

    I remember during the Congressional hearings (televised) to approve invading Iraq after 911... it did not take a rocket scientist to look at Powell and see he was lieing through his teeth.
    After thought... it became obvious why it was televised... not to inform... rather to create public opinion.

    i have a customer who roomed at school with him and remained very close to him, he had told me in the past how he was suffering from dementia and other health problems for the last few years.

    That is sad....I met him twice in my military career....he was a big man physically and didn't really like the "Stormin Norman" nick name...most of the troops under his command nicknamed him "The Bear"....He was one tough General and did not play the political game after he retired.
