totally agree!

Climate master has great startup check list and trouble shooting guide in their INSTALLATION, OPERATION & MAINTENANCE manual's. Those should have been filled out after install. If not they should be.

If the measured HE/HR is outside of specs then a service tech may connect a gauge set to the unit to troubleshoot the refrigerant circuit.

Yes it was almost 6.(temp drop of water going in to water coming out correct?) Filter is a 21" by 21" for a really odd size hole of 24" by 23" but it I just cleaned it.
Tech said the temperature of the air going in compared to the air being pushed out to the house was only a 9 degree drop(79 in and 70 out). He had no explanation as to why it is not colder other then the system was tired.
This has been my main complaint with the system since moving in, the air being pushed into the house in the winter is not very hot and in the summer not very cold. The tech's always get good readings from the loop and then tell me it's running right. Last evening again it ran from 6 to 9 with the thermostat set to 73 by 9 o'clock the temp in the house was 76.
Can anyone provide me with some guidance? I live 4 hours away from a city and have had all 3 local techs in, one was nice enough to charge me 600 dollars for an inspection that consisted of him telling me how ****ty my system and install were. Help!

Have the tech's performed a Heat of Extraction/Rejection on the unit? A HE/HR is the first thing a service tech needs to do. It confirms the system's ability to reject heat into the ground or extract heat from the ground. Is your filter CLEAN?

Climatemaster Problems

Hello I am new to the site but have done some geothermal research so not totally clueless.

I have an 1800sf home, about 750sf has a 17ft vaulted ceiling. It is built on a slab and is R3000 construction. I have a 3.5 ton Climate master with a down flow forced air duct supply. I have owned the house for 3 years. Which leads to the problems part of the question. First I will say I have no confidence in the two technicians I have had come to the house already for other reasons(long story for different post).
My present problem is yesterday the heat was 90 degrees with high humidity. The system was able to keep the temp at 73 during the day but come evening it ran for basically 4 hours and could not get below 75 degrees, finally I turned it off and opened the windows. . Also lately it doesn't seem to be lowering the humidity very much. Cooling is where the Geo is supposed to shine. Anybody have any similar experiences, thoughts or recommendations?

Btw in the winter it might easily run for 1.5 hours straight when it' s minus 30 out, but it's never run like that for cooling.
