Our site rules will probably prevent specific recommendations, since you are not registered here as a professional. That's why I recommended the University folks. Also, they may have better info for products used in your part of the world. Much of what we have here is different in terms of specs, requirements, voltage and Hz, etc.

Perhaps the info you need to find first is how to make heat load calculations for commercial structures. This is important because you need to determine the correct capacity for whatever kinds of systems you choose.

Even in the Philippines, you should be able to access academic sources for that kind of informations. Perhaps the University at Sydney Australia could be a help to you.

many thanks for the welcome! just got back from school.. hmmm its a 20 storey building, it has a commercial area, clinic, gym on lower floors and residential on upper floors. We are planning to use and air handling unit in lower floors then use window or split types in the residential area.

Ok, so what is it that you are doing...whats the HVAC project?

Good day engineers!

I am Nelson from philippines and currently studying in Mapua Institute of Technology taking up
Mechanical Engineering. My group mates and I have a project in our Industrial Plant Engineering,
and the design that we are supposed to do involves HVAC. But our instructor doesn't teach us
enough about the HVAC. We are having a hard time finding books or references like ASHRAE
fundamental, application etc.. We searched the net but we are not convinced that all of it are true
(or maybe we just dont understand it that well hehehe). Then someone we know told us that it is
better to learn in online forums where experienced engineers gathers and share knowledge. So
we hope that you guys can help or guide us in what we are doing or just check if we're doing it wrong.
