Wow I'm Confused now. I'm told that they came up with a replacement a replacement. It will be here tomorrow and I'll let you know how it turns out. I can not afford to replace the unit, so I am trying to solve this on my own. I will not replace this with another Waterfunace should I fail.

Segway36, Bill Lee is correct. A couple of years ago, Copeland stopped manufacturing this compressor. At that time, we bought as many of these compressor as we were able to. Unfortunately, at this time this compressor is no longer available. If you are a homeowner, we would suggest contacting your WaterFurnace dealer, as there may additional assistance available. WaterFurnace International, Inc.
If it's the Copeland two speed (ATVO48), no more available. Copeland stopped making them. Either change to single speed 4ton compressor or replace with new Series 5 WaterFurnace.
I'd venture.....your contractor can get one
