It uses a solenoid valve to control water flow. Incoming water pressure should be regulated to below 30 PSI. AJ Antunes/Roundup does sell a regulator kit for that application. However, Sean's steamer is model DFW-150, where the "1" denotes self-contained water tank, and uses a built-in pump to deliver the water to the steam chamber.

If you're wondering about any upgrades that AJ Antunes/Roundup may have available, you should call them. Sometimes a printed manual is dated and won't reflect such things. I've never worked on one of these steamers. However, I did perused their manual. You can go to http://www.partstown.com/ and use options in upper-right corner to "Find Equipment Manuals" and download yourself a PDF version of the Service & Parts Manual. Looks like it probably needs a water pump kit (pn: 7000850), which includes a tube kit with it. The parts breakdown doesn't show any rebuild kit for the pump. Make sure your customer hasn't lost the water tank filter assembly (pn: 0010159) and that they know to remove and clean it monthly per the manual. If it's missing, I suspect that would cause premature failure of the pump.

Sean, they make nine different steamers. Sounds like a faulty solenoid valve. Call Roundup/A.J. Antunes @ 800-253-2991 for tech support and part numbers.
Round up Steamer issues Anyone work on these steamers and have issues with the spray tubes leaking and filling the steam chamber when off. Is there a replacement kit?
