Slow season? What's that? Still getting 50+ hours a week up north.
During the slow season, I dance on tables as kind of a minor league working class Chippendale Dancer.
I got in the habit during the hot months of keeping a notebook of what I call "winter work," stuff that doesn't have to be done right now and could be done in cooler months. It's probably easier here, where right now it's 63º out so we're not working in the snow. I got in the habit of looking for and saving winter work one winter (during the Carter recession) where we worked only one or two days a week. Vicki in Phoenix
During the slow season?Same as the busy season, play the stock market.
agreed
Lets not forget Backapage just dont buy anything that has the Initials TS lol
Agreed. But dont forget about craigslist. Yes its got hacks but at least its free. The ebay listings can wind up costing you.
Ebay can help somewhat,, One mans trash is another treasure.
I stock grocery shelves on the weekends, during the week if nothing is coming in, I'll venture out in the 4 cylinder car (good gas mileage) and start cold calling. I clear about $800 per month stocking, it's not much, but it's consistent.
Get a gig at an income tax place

Become an Energy Analyst and do Energy Audits during the slow times.

Before HVAC, I ran a remodeling co; have over 20 years expanding and improving folks homes. Off season I do home repair and minor remodeling.
I've thought more and more about DJing at a strip club while I grow my business...hahahaha.
