    Ah, the old Winkler. Made GREAT boat moorings out our way! That one looks like it's in an old Columbia boiler??? I thought all those old things were gone years ago. Borg Warner, now York, if I recall correctly. Never ran worth a darn on #2, let alone perfume or peanut oil as originally claimed!

    They thought it was a cold air trap so it wouldn't backdraft cold air into the unit/home at standby. Guess they overlooked that little thing about venting and CO....
