I liked the Craftsman's ones, when they we're all made in the USA. Can't go wrong with Klein though.

Those Knipex videos are like tool porn. I've got the cobra ones but those pliers wrench look sweet, guess whos dropping some coin on them in a.m.
I really need them because I do not have them in my arsenal. I've been called a tool hoarder, among other less flattering metaphors that do not warrant mentioning at this time.

Skip the alligator and go right for the Cobra pliers... Much easier to adjust them...

I just recently picked up there Pliers Wrench. Comes in really handy for gripping odd stuff like txv and won't damage bolts.

They sell em at sears if you want to play with em.

Please stop posting videos like that.... I'm now looking at 30-80 dollar tools. Gah I wish I had more money.

I've been impressed by all of the Knipex pliers I've found. Smooth and tight action, extremely strong.

BAHCO is my recent favorite, I got all sizes, they are slim enough for txv work. I sent my kleins, blue channelocks to my backup toolbags.

Lol I only go up to a 24" adjustable wrench my truck. The 18" gets used a lot more though. Great on unions, Trane roto lock fitting on compressors, heating valves, ect.

LOL nice. I feel kind of depressed when I see what has become of the Black & Decker name in the last 10-15 years. Mainstream tool manufacturing for retail has become a race to the bottom and it's driven the cost of american-made quality stuff through the roof.

I started using those Crescent Auto/Ford style adjustable wrenches again over the last few years. What's funny is that I had two of them for many years that I almost never used, so sold them on ebay. The new ones I replaced them with are okay, but fairly expensive and now being made in China. I have three different sizes, 9, 11 and 15-inch, but the 9-inch seems to be the one I use the most.

Nope, but the "outdoor enthusiasts" keep their distance when they see you toting one of those or a 48" pipe wrench... Use wrenches that size on big threaded ball valves and unions.

+1, even though Kobalt claims they have a lifetime guarantee on their tools, the people at Lowes are the biggest PITA when it comes to returns. You question why i'm returning or exchanging your tools? Because they're pieces of crap! Anything I've had break from craftsman I go back to sears no questions asked and I have a new one within minutes. The people that usually work in the tool dept at sears usually aren't contractors but definitely have used Craftsman @ home and understand where your'e coming from.

I carry two. Great for all but where you need a lot of leverage.

Then you'll love this wrench. Won't round of bolts with these. They are also great for bending metal or crushing things, like hard copper pipe or what ever you want to crush.
