    Yes, it is copper to iron. 1 of many of these couplings. I could get back to threads on all but one of them, but had to use a dressler coupling to fix one.

    Looks like copper to iron... The hack likely sawzalled the iron at tearout and got stumped when it came time to reconnect.

    Not a drain line, 12 psig boiler supply.....Several of them in the system. They just started to bulge and leak.
