At the lower right of the Reply page, you'll see tabs. Click the middle tab "Go Advanced" then below the window you type in you'll see "manage attachments". Click that then follow the text boxes for selecting, uploading and attaching files. If this power vent blows out, it is illegal. If it is a wall mounted exterior exhaust then it may be ok. Meanwhile, can you provide make and model of PV?

not the blower motor, but the burner motor. how do you reset it and why are you blaming the motor?
If you think this is due to the install of the power vent take a look at the draft proving switch often these are clogged. In any event if the draft does not prove the burner is wired into the safty circuit and will shut down. This can be intermittent like you have experienced.
It could be that when they installed the power vent they wired it through the cad cell relay. The relay may be timing out before the pressure switch makes burner starts and flame is proven, or any other number of things like misadjustment, dirty, etc.

Oil Fired Furnace needs Occaisional blower rest Have a situation where the Blower motor cuts out maybe once or twice a week. Chimney replaced by Power Vent during remodel 18 months ago. Issue May have begun then, homeowner cannot recall. Beckett blower motor appears new Thoughts?
