From what I've seen coming out of school most of the kids serious about this field and willing to learn didn't have a hard time getting work. Sadly that was about 2% of my class. I was fortunate to get on with a good company early on with my teachers recommendation.

Thanx for the warm welcome guys! I graduated this summer from a hvac diploma program but there's nothing better than field experience & to listen to old timers who've been there before you.
Welcome to the forum. I myself am a newbie of sorts I'm only in my second semester of school. Keep your eyes open on here and you might just learn something.
Just remember to keep a thick skin and a humble attitude, and don't let the guys who had a bad day get to you. If you do that, everything else will fall into place.

new member Hey guys just wanted to introduce myself. my names chris, i live in wilmington NC. im originally from Boston. A friend at work recommended i check this site out. i graduate in two weeks with a diploma in hvac. i was fortunate to get on with a good company two months ago and start getting my feet wet. I'll be lurking around, i got a whole lot to learn, hope to become a pro member soon.
