Pretty much what i do. Just gives me an idea temp of boiler pipes radiators, registers ex. Dont trust it to much but easy quick. Just think mine is off maybe 10_20° compared to others. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
The only thing i would use an infared for was to see if something was hot or cold......lol I wouldnt use the temp reading from one for any kind of heat or cool calculation...... calibration certificate or not..... hot or cold.....
