Once I bought a pair of insulated "bibs" (overalls) years ago.... I was hooked. I have 2 pairs all the time now. One in my work van and one in my personal pick-up's back seat. I prefer them to long johns because they are easy on and off in a snap. This eliminates the problem I used to have of going from too cold to too hot. You know from the roof to the boiler room, etc..... besides bibs are better for kneeling in the snow for rooftop units, they keep your pants clean and dry and I find them more comfortable. Over the years I have also found that owning them has been cheaper then buying longjohns.

Yo Chad whats up!? I had to run up there by you a few days ago and now I know why you didn't answer. I woke up at my friends house and the news said it was -41, -59 wind chill. I feel sorry for the dog having to go outside to pee at that temp.

Yeah, but you have to come back. That's the worst part of going on vacation.

I got my Under Armor Cold Gear laid out to put on first thing in the morning.

Apparently my crew doesn't want to set units on the roof this week

Good thing we have a lot of work in the building with temp. heat.

Thinking about getting a box of those instant heat packets to keep a couple in my pockets while working on the roofs. Crack one and shove my fingers in my pocket to thaw them out. I have a hard time keeping my gloves on, they get in the way too much. But then when your fingers freeze and you put them back in your glove, it seems to take even longer to warm up

Out company has already told all the service dept to be ready. I'm not even supposed to leave the office, I'm supposed to remote in and try to handle the issues I can via remote on the control systems.

Bundle up, have the firewood ready and find someone to warm the bed up for you prior to getting in!
