I echo Gruntly's sentiments. I'd be less concerned about how much can be put into that vehicle as opposed to if the suspension and frame are up to the job of carrying it.

I'm reminded of the GMC Safari I had for a while when I was an apprentice. The suspension would bottom out just from the weight of my tools, let alone if I had to carry any parts on it. It'd been overloaded for so long prior to it being issued to me that the front end was bowed -- the tires had a sickly camber to them. That company had about 10 of those little vans, and they were all in deplorable condition.

On topic, I'm not in a service truck at the moment, but my personal vehicle is a '90 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4 with 190k miles. I make daily sacrifices to Jobu to keep my Jeep running, but He sees fits to smite me at least once a fortnight with mechanical maladies and electrical gremlins so that He may revel in my vain attempts at keeping my vehicle in something resembling decent operating conditions.

    JEEP -- Always an Adventure.

Now seriously, can you get everything you need to in that truck? If you can I might look at one myself. I do commercial/industrial service so I don't carry a lot of large items.. 'cept'n my 28' ext ladder. I'm sure if I need to move a large item like a heat ex or unit, I can get a trailer. What else do you use to carry larger items?

My Savana has done me well, but today I couldn't get a resi condensing unit in it if I had to.

Do you guys get a lot of Canadian customers with those maple leaves on the side?

Honda might not think to highly of that if you need any warranty work done on the engine.

    Indoor Comfort
    99 F150 4x4 ext cab 245,000 miles
    97 F250 ext cab 190,000 miles
97 E150 250,000 miles down now tranny finally died trying to decide weather or not to put new motor and tranny in it or just junk it rest of van in good shape.
    98 Expedition 103,,000 miles
    93 F150 98000 miles

All the trucks run like new and dont use oil. I remember when if you had 100,000 miles on a car it was wore out now if you don't get at leat 200,000 on one you got a bad one.
