That's cold : )! You're going to freeze! I've worked in -18*f but it doesn't happen very often.

I think if the catalytic converter lit on fire something went wrong, maybe too much fuel and it's pooling up at the top.. You should just barely see an ember type glow though the catalytic converter, not a full on flame. Maybe let it air out for a couple days, that zippo fluid evaps pretty quick, put the 6 hour level in and try again. Remember to push the spout into all three spots on the burner and then put the little catalytic converter back on.

Oh come on, you've been living in Canada for how long and haven't frozen yet : )!

It doesn't "light up" when it lights so it can be hard to tell if it has. How much fuel did you put in?

Couple tips not in the video. I shook mine after filling for a few seconds. I would move the lighter back and forth for a couple of full seconds, then flip the warmer over to the other side and go back and forth for a couple seconds, do each side like that twice. Seemed to light every time like that. When holding the warmer and lighter, keep the flame vertical(kinda hard not to) and warmer perpendicular to the flame.

Yea, I got two... They work but are a pain. Usually just use the chemical little hotties cause they are so much easier. The key is to hold your lighter on the wick for longer than you think you need to. Once you get it lit though, they are great. WAY hotter then the chemical ones.

I'm in Canada too and they are great to have on a rooftop this time of year. Everyone thinks it's a flask though.

    Zippo hand warmer

Has anyone used this product? I thought it would be good cause zippo makes a good product (Lighters) I can't get mine to work followed the instructions but doesn't heat up?
I will post a pic when I get home. This will be a good tool doing service on rtu in canada if it would work.
