No. Just put a new board in it.

Changed from F to H revision. Problem solved.

Yea thats a real new Chiller don't have a updated book for that model there has been some changes in the electrical componants without a updated book can't tell you whats in there.

It's pretty new. Maybe 4 years.
I have the m4 but there is nothing in depth on that board really.
I put a scope on the incoming power today to make sure I wasn't missing anything there. No problem as suspected.
I did notice that it the single phase light only trips right after the pre charge Contactor pulls in. Then it trips and recycles. The alarm lasts approx .10 of a second.
I have a local JCI tech coming Thursday to check it out with me. I've never seen this particular problem before and I didn't really want to roll the dice with a board that will likely run me 4k. So hopefully he knows something I do not.
In the mean time I am open to suggestions. Either way I will post the outcome.

How new is that machine ?

The M4 is the book to troubleshoot that drive.

I was hoping it contained more information than the m4.
Do you know of a checkut procedure of any sort for the trigger board? I can't see another problem at the moment but I prefer confirmation of failure if possible (not always possible with boards, i know) I just feel as if I'm missing something.

If your trigger board turns out to be bad just replace it and don't try to reinvent the wheel. Most everything is backward compatable.

Hello Everyone,

I am new here.
I have searched this forum many times over the years and it has provided me with some literature that has helped in the past.

Again I have come asking for help, but this time I have signed up and perhaps I can give back when the time comes.

I have come across a problem and I do not have the correct manual in my library which is suprising actually.

The long as short of it is I am looking for the 160.00M1 in particular. I have the M4 which is no help.

The VSD is a 424 Vyper on a 400t YK.

Symptom:

Trigger board is picking up a phase loss once every 10-12 seconds that lasts for a fraction of a second in start sequence.
All the obvious things have been checked. OSCD logic board is communicating and tests out ok. Works fine with the SCR trigger board.
The board is actually picking it up but I do not believe that the phase loss exists in the incoming power. I am going to pull the board tomorrow to check the solder etc but I would like to see if the M1 can point me in a direction I haven't thought of.
Any other advice would be appreciated.

Oh also, if it does turn out that I cannot get around replacing the board does anyone know if I will run into software compatibility issues with a new one? The machine is pretty new, using the pcb9009 board.
