If the chiller is new, as you said, it should be still under warranty of JCI/York. Sorry to say that, but the only thing you have to do in this case is, to call Johnson service office in your area. If everything is ok, the unit should not trip! But why have you replaced the main board then? Have you done it on your own and warranty is now void? I suspect as already said, that you missed to program the values which are factory set. What happened to the old board? Do you still have it? If you do want us to help you, you should try to answer the questions that we raise.

YAEP is an aircooled recip chiller with PC compressors fitted. It is build in Guangzhou, China for high ambient applications. What does "failed high ambient" mean? Did it trip on high discharge pressure? If yes, on the electronic setting or on the mechanical hp´s? What was the condenser air inlet temperature when the chiller triped, did you have short circuit air flow, checked for refrigerant overcharge? The chiller should not trip on 37°C ambient at all! Have you checked correct fan rotation, operation. What is the setting for the condenser pressure control, electronic hp cut out, high ambient temperature cut out? I suspect, that you failed programing all values when you replaced the main board. Is a 031-01095-002 board fitted?

As far as I know, York got 2 factory in China, one is in Wuxi for water cooled chiller and another on is in Guangzhou for air-cooled chiller. Why dont refer to the China office?
