Try to read the thread, at least a few posts, before responding. It helps to get the context.

Do you have an ohm/multi meter? Have you tried alternating different individual wires in the tstat wire bundle going to condenser unit if you have isolated it to that, in case some insulation or short compromised one or some of them. Assuming the minimum number wire count wasnt used 3 or 5 for example. We always use atleast 8 wire regardless if its straight ac or not. Zebra makes a z breaker you can mount on unit in 5 amp to help trouble shoot and save fuses/time, also depending on unit location allow home owner to reset an occasional trip so they have heat or A/C untill you get back out there. Straight wiring or using a bigger fuse is stupid as you will only end up burning out transformers or worse.

I worked with a guy, that when he had this problem he would jump the fuse holder with a piece of wire.
He said he would find the problem most of the time because the part would end burning up.
