Look up my old friend down there in Houston, I think the company he works for is based in Kalifornia!
Why don't you try paso Robles or Atascedero much better than Santa Maria. It gets really hot in summer and really cold in winter just because you are over the Grade. Monteray is too far North to really be considered Central Coast, More like North central coast.
things are bad in all the coast no work for season tech-mech the weather is changing by time there use to tons of ad for workers in the trade now if you see two ad in the papers you see a lot what the hell is going on in this trade will like to know.
Thanks guys, my problem is i cant to the people who actually do the hiring only the agencys and so far they are a hinderance. I tried craigs list, i got an offer for 30,000 dollars a year, after i threw up in my mouth i deleted it.
Have you tried craigslist yet?
met a guy who is having his vacation in vegas this year from monterray & he was telling me that they really need seasoned techs up there. might want to check the local want ads from there or call a couple of the parts houses up there. beautiful area & moderate climate. he said wages arent too far off from san francisco wages.
Central coast part 2 I mentioned earlier i will need to move to California's Central coast in the future, however i still havent found anything. Ive tried going through recruiters but honestly i feel like im just a number lost in the matrix. Wish it was like it was 20 years ago where you could walk in a shake the guys hand , look him in the eye and just talk. I know its hard to find good help, i also know there isnt anything i havent been able to fix from a water fountain to a centrifugal chiller, someone in Santa Maria or San luis obispo needs me, but who?
