That is soooo irritating. I've got a few around here that I actually want to be the one to catch the call if the blower fails. I want to film it when I tell them I'll come back after they tear the wall out.

The plumbers use cpvc on supply water and PVC on waste around here.

Although, I didn't check if it was PVC or cpvc on this one.

There's def not a square to round.

Nice supply plenum too. Maybe there is a square to round underneath.

No inspections in this area until 2012, anything went around here as long as it ran long enough to get away!

Lol, I think it's a test, making sure I have the resolve and drive to continue in the field, eventually I will be rewarded by the a/c gods : ).... I hope!

Are they all like that? I'm assuming your company didn't put the water heater in. It looks fairly recent. They deserve a public lynching.
They screwed some S-lock to the wall horizontally and then screwed a couple pieces into the back of the air handler vertically so they could "hook" the unit on, the poor guy living there has actually been keeping up on the filters but it's supposed to slide out the front, so he's been bending it long ways to fold it in and sometimes it falls out or gets sucked up.

No we didn't put either in. There have been other units with grossly mismatched fixed orifices or in a couple cases none at all.

Not every unit is facing the water heater, just 6 or so. On the other building they made the closet big enough that the unit faces the door.

I agree, people like this shouldn't be allowed to work until they prove otherwise.

    Really, another one of these!

This is an apartment complex with 6 buildings and 40 units.

Every time I come over here it's a joke, a really not funny joke, the worst kind of hacks did the installs.

I was not spared today on trying to repair this unit, it has a sequencer or relay stuck that's keeping the unit running 24/7.
