Post time, your post reminded me of the air cooled York chiller the airport up here rented a few years back. It was out on the tarmac, the pilots were *****in cuz of the noise while they were parked! True story.

make sure that the noise it creates isn't going to be an issue. had an air cooled york at a hospital for a month and they had to move it because of some patients inability to sleep. i know you said it was a construction project , but just a thought.

I know Trane has a good rental air cooled chiller. Up here in New England we get below 0°F and I had no problems with one.

Agrreko has a wide range of chillers for rent, all across the US.

Make sure it's rated for low ambient conditions.

    Chiller Rental

Looking into the possibility of renting an air-cooled water chiller for an upcoming construction project this winter. Probably need about 75 ton capacity unit. (Facility needs cooling year-round due to data equipment.)

Is there a problem running an air-cooled chiller in the winter (zero degF)?

Any suggestions along these lines would be appreciated.
