You're right on the money. Freeze time can be between 12-16 minutes depending on water and ambient temp.

dlz, the evaporator side of the cube...i talked with the factory about it and they said it was a bubble cause by the water flow..

the one thing about this system is the blue paste that is in the water manifold..i was at this machine 3 months ago for a well needed cleaning
today it looked like it hasn't been cleaned since new(09)..the bridge isn't over limit..i don't know what the customer was talking about.

yes the time was 14 minutes if i helped the ice off.

If you have a curved cube side, I would say your harvest is affected. Bad harvest solenoid, hot gas valve, scaled up evap, etc.

When you say the "back side", do you mean the cube side or the bridge side? A thick, curved bridge can be unit out of level but if it worked fine until recently, what happened, did someone move it? It can also be that the water inlet is leaking past and causing a thick bridge. Did you time the cycle? Freeze time on that should be about 12 min.

lyting it was level, and the evap is made so its on a down hill anyway..

cooljim, I've seen that on manotowacs..this one is in good shape..

    I have had this also.

The ice thickness sensor says ice is thick enough and the water level sensor says the water is gone so it goes into harvest. Where is the machine located?

wow just learned that if the ice doesn't trip the door on time, it takes 20 minutes for the machine to restart its self...20 MINUTES !

Bin switches & harvest assist solenoids have been my biggest issues.

But get it real clean first and see what happens.

Had some trouble with water floats.

But not eyes to fog up & give you trouble.

Biggest thing with all ice machines, keep it clean.
