In a situation like this I certainly would not recommend lowering the space temperature set point. If the unit will allow you to place the fan on continuous run mode I would try that first. Keep the air moving constantly but cycle the cooling (or heating) on as required. This is not as good as providing fresh air or adding a dehumidifier as suggested, but you can only do so much with a window shaker. You may have to break down and get a small dehumidifier, but, given the small space, I would certainly try the continuous fan mode first.

A small dehumidifier is a must in any green grass climate. Maintain <50%RH all the time to prevent mold from growing. Also an air change of fresh air is 4-5 hours is important to purge indoor pollutants and renew oxygen.
A unit like a small Ultra-Aire whole house ventilating maybe overkill, but the concept is right. It's the correct concept. Fresh filtered air when occupied, while maintaining <50%RH is critical.

If you are having a mold issue due to high humidity, you can run the AC at a higher temp to pull the humidity out of the air. The lower you set the temp, the more the unit runs - The more the unit runs, the more moisture it will pull out of the air. An air exchange system like Jnxmn described above will bring in fresh air but requires additional equipment. You might also consider adding a UV light to help with the mold. Dehumidifiers are an option, but are not the most friendly on the electric bill. Here is a link that will give you an idea of the different options available.

did you think about to install a small fan for ventilation. you can also install a temp. sensor in your office and interface to the fan to start runing when space temperature exceeds setpoint. you'll also need to allow for a makeup air intake somewhere. ideally you'd want to have a non-return damper at the back of the intake makeup air grilles and discharge vent to seal when the fan is not in operation.

There is one door and one window with a ac unit in it. I am not there much so the ac does not run and the air is not being exchanged and slight mold is a problem.

Any advice will be appreciated.
