Shrink is my main choice. I run AnyDVD in the packground. I use NERO to burn with but I set the preferences in DVD Shrink to not automaticly burn; I like to do that as a separate operation.

What program do you use to make backups?

I haven't had any problems until now. I can't encode "The wedding date" with anything I got. (And shut up already, it is my wife's DVD). Just wondering what you use.

Yeah. Be Cool was pretty good. Good cast.
And Uma looked a little better than her Kill Bill days

Segal is ok I guess. Each one of them action fighting actors has their own good and bad.
Segal makes his movies all like he was top notch Military SEAL/RANGER, etc.
And he never seems to get his ass kicked. EVER.

Van Damn does some cool kicks. But they use the slow motion WAY TOO MUCH and he always sounds like he's taking a shit each time he does a move or gets hit!!!!

Now Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris was the sheeet!
REAL SHIT right there. Bruce Lee really did all them flips and stuff. Chuck Norris was a REAL Karate/KickBoxing Champ!

Then there's Jackie Chan and Jet Lee right now.
First time I saw Jackie was in them two Cannonball Run movies. He spoke NO English!
But he could already do some kicks and some splits!
He's crazy with his stunts. Must take a LOT of takes in his movies...
Jet Lee seems to have some moves too. But I don't know his background to know weather he's good, or if it's movie magic.

I haven't seen Be Cool. I watched Get Shorty at the theater when it came out. I wasn't too fond of it, so being as Be Cool is the sequel, I'm not too interested. Although the cast looks good. I may have to break down and watch it. I heard it got good reviews.

I watched The Machinist over the weekend. Not bad. Pretty wacky. It stars Christian Bale...the new Batman, and he was the American Psycho. He weighs about 120 lbs. in the movie. Grossly thin.

Talking about Segal, I picked up his debut movie Above the Law not long ago. Have you ever noticed 90% of his movies are three letter titles? Strange.

Well, welcome to the Genral Discussion section, Payson HVAC, stick around here and hang out with us as long as you want. :-)

I think I have about everything I've rented from the DVD store LOL! Not too sure how THAT happened though!

Yeah. But when I clicked on this area, I sure had to scroll down for something I posted on just yesterday!!!

I got off work too late again. Got home after 8PM. No time to go take movies back and get more. I'm on that flat rate $24.99/month from Blockbuster where you can have two out at a time as long as you want or take back as often as you want for two more each time. At one time I was there every single night!

Anyway, I finally watched ANOTHER one of my UNSEEN DVD's tonight. Watched that Steven Segal "Submerged". It was ok. Lots of EXPLOSIONS to make the Dolby Digital go nuts which is always GOOD.

Last night I finally watched John Travolta in "Be Cool". That was a cool movie.

Payson! I can't believe you've wandered off! Sounds like you have a pretty nice collection there. I've got a few I bought and haven't seen yet either.

I've tried that. Unless there is an easier way to do it...it will take me a long time to add them. You know how it goes, you have to type in the name of the movie, then check the box after searching for the right one and then move it to the preferred section. It took me about an hour to add 40 movies.

I think I too have my own VIDEO store.

I think I am at about 400 DVD movies now!

I use them LARGE wallet style cases that hold about 220 discs each. The SECOND one is about full!

I have so many DVD's I haven't even watched but 2/3 of them I bet! I've got about 5 more I just made/got sitting right here to add to my DVD cases

We have a decent library also. I'm not sure how many, but I don't think we have as much as you. About half are kids movies. I'm pretty picky what I buy. It's gotta be something I'll watch over and over. The wife is less selective and buys those damn chick fliks, which most times end up sucking, and she will only watch them once and they collect dust. I love the collectors editions of TV shows. There's so many out now. My favorites are MASH and Tour of Duty...and NYPD Blue.

We haven't rented a video in 10+ years probably.

    Anyone have one?

I used to buy VHS quite a bit. After DVD's came out, I kinda got addicted to them. I've amassed around 130 VHS and over 240 DVD's. There are so many movies I'm waiting for to be converted over to DVD. Most of them are so cheap...I just buy 'em. My living room is a mini video store.

    Anybody wanna to rent one?
