It is no more McQuay. It have been in transition to Daikin-McQuay since Daikin bought McQuay. Now with Goodman what the company its saying will do is that the plate will come with Daiki-McQuay brandname. Now it is the biggest HVAC company in the world. Have 3 factories in China, one in Italy, one in UK, one in Mexico, like 4 in the US, one in Malaysia, among others including American Air Filters.

Are you referring to JCI purchasing York?

Ask jci how much pushback you get from your senior service folks when you screw with the name that they sweated blood for all those years...

We just tied in a new air cooled Daikin-McQuay chiller last week via BACnet to JCI N2. I hope they keep McQuay around for sometime.

I just installed a McQuay Chiller. It did not have a Daikin label on it. However, it was purchased through Daikin-Mcquay

What??? The big Dyke is getting rid of McGAY?????? What the hell is this world coming to?

On the other hand, who cares?? McQuay doesn't really have much brand recognition anyways, so it will probably work out just fine for them. It will be interesting to see if they do anything with Goodman, though.

It is already Daikin-McQuay. From what I am hearing the McQuay brand is being dropped entirely.

I have no inside info but I would bet it'll go from Daikin-McQuay to just Daikin. Guess they'll have to give me new hats and t-shirts if they want me to show off the brand!

    McQuay to be no more

Hearing rumors from some pretty good sources that the McQuay brand will no longer exist in the US come the end of August. It will now be Daikin across the board, and I am assuming that with the recent purchase of Goodman it will be re-branded as well.

    What are you guys hearing?
