    Hope you guys had a reasonable customer who would pay to replace it.

    I seem to have found my way into slumlords (again). Thought I could take the high road... but $$$ is $$$. Oh well... probably humble me a bit...

    in that condition i wouldnt recommend fixing the problem. but when a job like this exsist the only thing you can do is to do what the customer wants i guess.

    i saw a similar coil before. customers dog liked to pee on the condensor and it ate through the aluminum and copper. although the pic you have posted looks like someone tried to fix a leak and overheated the copper. bangup job!
