Nope just plan old 2 x 4s, and im pretty sure if you removed them the unit would fall over.
WTF is that even treated lumber ???!! When are people like that going to realize, it takes less time to do the job right.
The things you see I was going through some old photos and came across these, I just dont know what some people are thinking. What you are looking at is 2 x 4 holding up a rooftop unit, because the curb adapter they installed was lopsided. Looks like the orginal curb was a 5 ton, new unit is 7 1/2 ton.
