[QUOTE=dandyme;9907722]try to retain most of what you learn, eventually you will encounter a unit that does not have a wiring diagram...............those are always fun

i love sun baked RTUs with out schematics and sun bleached name plates where the only clue is what you can trace out in the wiring in front of you. fun fun bundles and bundles of wire.

open houses are good for meeting techs, for the most part we don't hoard the knowledge, unless you start telling us how great you are then can't answer a simple question

oh, that gives us 8 weeks to cook up some off the wall screwball problem for you

What I meant was being done with school training.

Learning things in the field, or from being on here is way different than school learning.

This college is about 50% theory and 50% hands on.

Way to go .Now it is time to try to to find someone to maybe work for even if just the weekends to get some hands on. Theory is great and definitely needed but the real education is out in the trenches.Good luck with your education.

I can find what's causing some issues now, but if you ask me that question when I post my next certificate I should be able to say I can find the cause of the problem, read the diagram if locate the part and be able to fix it with no problems.

I learning diagrams and trouble shooting this quarter, so again ask me that again in 8 more weeks, or when I post the next certificate.

I was at Johnstone's open house today and met a few guys working in the field, I may have found my first HVAC job.

    My first ever..

I am not sure what this means to anyone else but to me (I don't ever get the feeling I am accepted around here), but this is my first college certificate and I am dam proud of it.

3 more and the big diploma to go then I am done (or so I hope).
