that unit had never been touched since the day it was installed, it was a 20 ton unit. unbelievable. i fixed 1/2 the stuff in the plant, the employees told me it was the most comfortable they had been in 10 years at work.
i can beat that, found a unit on a new agreement startup, dated 1999. thats one of those high dollar 14 year filters. needless to say belt had not been touched and both compressors grounded.
A loose belt, plugged filters and no LP switches. It was still running it's little Carrier a$$ off.
Whats that sayin ? Hard to stop a Tra......
Kudos for the compressors for putting in all that overtime...
Always the ones in the hard to reach places with in-house guys responsible for changing them.

That's the cleanest ice maker I've ever seen.
Might also want to check the airflow/charge after you get new filters.
