The position for the Baton Rouge Shop is still open we are accepting technicians with 1-5 years experience and applicants just out of school.

My wife is born and raised in EBR. Does that count? If i ever decide to move there with her or if i come down for a bit and you need help, i'll give you a shout.

We just don't have many techs from Louisiana on here do we.

HVAC Service Technician Opportunity in Baton Rouge, LA

Job Description:
Able to perform maintenance, service and troubleshoot commercial HVAC equipment. Must be driven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervision. Must have a desire to continually improve as an employee, technician, and responsible person. Must have a need to perform high quality work. This position is responsible for servicing all commercial HVAC system issues on time and to the customer’s satisfaction. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC systems, perform scheduled maintenance, suggesting and performing system improvements and modifications, etc.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully the candidate must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.

* Troubleshoot and repair customer HVAC systems.
* Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC systems.
* Start up and analyze HVAC systems.
*Complete documentation for assigned tasks.
*Coordinate and communicate activities with the customer.
*Be reliablely on time everyday
*Show a record, letter, or proof of high work attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the skills and abilities required.

*Must have at least EPA 608 Type II and III (Universal is preffered)
* Understanding of HVAC and electrical systems.
*Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
*Industry product knowledge.
*Good customer service skills.
*Strong verbal and written communications skills including but not limited to the ability to relate technical terminology to the customer, listen effectively and solicit input from others.
*Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
*Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
*Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
*Must have your own hand tools IE: screw drivers, wrenches, crescent wrenches, multimeter(must have amps and capacity), refrigerant gauges, wire snips, micron gauge, IR thermometer, valve core removal tool, and such. Having your own vacuum pump, recover unit, torch set, scales, and such is a plus but not required.
