Ive had RTFM program for a while and alot of the thermostats don't have the installation manual available which is quite frustrating. I always email and ask for updates. Had to straighten out problem with carrier stat manual mix up. I should start my own program!! I've been the one giving update tips and program problems! My Dropbox account is more up to date with product manuals then any program i can find.....
No dependability issues with Honeywell here period. They seem solid in my experience, the big problem is lack of configuration features in setting the thermostats up (i.e. second stage auxiliary heat set point variance). Also their price gets high as soon as you hit the touch screens, but it always seem that is what people want more. I have a customer who had a nest and thought it would allow him to come and go without having to mess with it, he was wrong. His schedule with his work was erratic and caused him to be constantly adjusting the thermostat. I told him he should probably just get a digital non programmable and simply put it on what he wants when he gets home and leaves, old school style...
Have you looked into a nest thermostat? Keep reading nice reviews about them and the ease of use. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2

There is a good app on Appstore IOS.....called RTFM thermostats, with preloaded instal and operating manuals for hundreds of different brandsand models. Easy to use and well orginised. It will make you look smarter than average tech.......

Are we talking here about Vision Pro 8000. Tstat? Two stage heat and one cooling. Press sceadule and second and fourt blank area. Now you are in installer setup mode. O terminan wire from tstat goes to oO terminal at the pump. W1 is for electric or emergency heat. Make shure in installer set up you choose reversing valve O terminal energized in cooling mode Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2

I may be suggesting replacement for reliability issues. I find that honeywell thermostats alone are not the best in my opinion... I think i have to jump W2 to aux as well to aux heat is enable when thermostat is set to that

Honeywell T8011R 1006 Has anyone had any problems with this heatpump thermostat? Does anyone have a wiring diagram? The honeywll install manual is horrrible. I hooked up WHITE wire top W and Aux terminal, yellow to Y, orange to O, green to g, red to R. Is this basically correct for normal hook up to heat pump with aux heat? Is there a installation mode where settings can be changed? Their is no mention of it in the manual. Thanx
