Yeah, it was pretty funky looking. Not your typical hermetic shape. Americold I see those on Artic Air freezers.
If I remember correctly, Bendix- Westinghouse was bought out by Americold in the 60's. Tough little unit- I just changed one out on a school cafeteria line last month. Icemeister will show up soon with more info.
BENDIX-WESTINGHOUSE yep...that was on the metal tag of a compressor I saw today. Wow... what vintage is that ?
