    Agreed! I don't plan on touching it all nor would I. If he's to cheap to replace that pile of s**t, he can't afford the service call.

    I'm thinking its just a line voltage bellows tap stat. I ain't touching it

    Joking aside. That unit is so old finding a replacement is going to be a huge challenge, if possible. Most likely you will end up with anything but a direct replacement and now you own any issue that comes from this guy.

    Its had a good life, let it die.
