    you are trying to make sure you don't get turbulents. I don't remember what it is for rectangular but take the area, convert to round and you'll be real close.

    duct traverse

    when taking a duct traverse i know its ten X upstream or 5 X downstream, but what do you multiply to get five times. the short side of the duct, or the square feet of the smaller duct.
