    Have seen LOTS of condensing units with filter driers on the discharge line from the factory. Mostly heat pumps.

    Not sure but I think it was returned for warrenty
    When you look at the way the leads were disconnected from the compressor the drier placement figures. Maybe I'm being to critical ?
    When most companies were contacted about joining RSES here they said, we teach our people what they need to know. That was 15yrs. ago.

    I wish I would have taken pictures...

    I saw two old Carrier 30GH recip chillers once with shell & core driers piped into the discharge lines. Where do you think the cores ended up?
